Columbia University’s Department of Biomedical Informatics is excited to announce the launch of the HI-FIVE (Health Informatics For Innovation, Value & Enrichment) professional development training program. With federal funding from the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, our team has developed a unique training for your professional development needs.
HI-FIVE training opportunities are available for all healthcare workers, including clinicians, administrative managers and staff, non-clinical providers, technology and insurance providers, and any other roles in health care. Each training is curated for a specific role and lasts approximately 10 hours.
Our comprehensive online HI-FIVE training covers the following five topics:
- Population Health
- Care Coordination and Interoperability
- Value-Based Care
- Healthcare Data Analytics
- Patient-Centered Care
